Panto performance tops perfect year

What a busy Christmas and New Year it has been. In December I looked after Phil as he performed in panto at Sheffield’s Lyceum Theatre. I had a very important job helping him with his lines and making sure his costume was spic and span. He did spectacularly well on stage!

Phil, who you know better as Mister Maker from CBeebies, is the Honorary Patron of the KM Charity Team and I am their mascot. So while Phil was performing as Muddles in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, I spend some of the time up to Christmas helping to promote the charity’s literacy scheme.

The guys at the KM Charity Team did very well as double the number of children will be using the literacy scheme – Buster’s Book Club – from the end of January.

Being the best friend of Mister Maker can really be exhausting sometimes, so just after Christmas I took up an offer to join Dominic, one of the KM Charity Team, on a trip to Australia. I have visited there before with Phil as part his Mister Maker stage tour. Phil will be there again in the coming weeks, so it is also giving me a chance to get things ready for his arrival.

Dominic wanted to see some of the famous places so I showed him Bondi Beach, Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge.

2017 will be very exciting and when I get back to Kent I am looking forward to helping tell everyone about the reading scheme, Buster’s Book Club. If any of you want to send through photos of you reading your favourite book to your teddy, them get your parent to use the form on my website to send them in. Maybe Phil and I will post it in this blog!
