The Cornwallis East Kent Freemasons Charity has provided grants to back the educational charity’s walk to school, literacy and road safety work in primary schools, while Over The Edge Adventures have provided specialist skills and equipment to enable the charity to stage fundraising abseils.

Barry Norton, who runs Over The Edge Adventures, was presented with a KM Charity Team Partnership Award in recognition for his support in staging abseil events for the educational charity.

Mr Norton has staged KM Charity Team abseils for more than five years.  Dominic Comins, KM Charity Team event manager said: “Barry’s team is always exceptionally professional and friendly and caring for the more nervous participants. They are the perfect event partner and we are so grateful for their support over the years.”

Simon Dolby thanked the Cornwallis Charity for its support of its educational work. He said: “The support of Cornwallis is much appreciated and has enabled us to work with a number of extra schools in the county.”
