A leading insurance broker is backing the KM Charity Team for its work in supporting child literacy, green travel and good causes across Kent.
Jelf Insurance will champion the charity’s work in KM Walk to School schemes Wow and Active Bug as well as reading scheme Buster’s Book Club along with a range of events staged throughout the next 12 months.
John Cox from Jelf said: “We are delighted to support the KM Charity Team in respect of all its work for charities and education. This is particularly important to us as we’re part of the community in Herne Bay and support of charity groups is close to our hearts.”
The KM Charity Team organises events for good causes and PTAs including the KM Charity Team Forum in October and collaborative fundraising activities such as the KM Colour Run on June 11, KM Charity Walk on June 25 and KM Dragon Boat Race on July 2.
Organisations supporting the charity’s green travel and literacy projects include Kent County Council, Maidstone Borough Council, Medway Council, Bexley Council, Three R’s teacher recruitment, Specsavers, Eurostar, Bel UK, Volker Highways, Countrystyle Recycling, Golding Vision, Kent Libraries, Kent Reliance, Orbit South, Gallaghers Aggregates and Whitefriars.
