The annual KM Charity Golf Challenge attracted scores of players keen to support literacy projects in the county.
Staged at the Chart Hill Course in the High Weald of Kent, the event’s headline sponsor was Barclays bank.
Other companies supporting the charity challenge included Gallagher Group, Ovenden Plant Hire, Keaneney Contractors, Furley Page, WW Martin, PSR Lighting and Holiday Extras.
PSR Lighting won the team prize, Lee Rebbeck was nearest the pin and Karl Smith won the putting competition.
Funds raised from the event will be used to support and expand the network of schools using the reading reward scheme Buster’s Book Club, currently used in more than 100 schools in Kent, south London and Sussex.
