Time: Registration from 9.45am. Coffee available to purchase for early arrivals from 9am. Coffee and pastries mid morning, event ends at 12.30.
Location: Historic Dockyard, Chatham
Details: Support and information for all walk to school schemes, information on our new level Green Footsteps scheme, fundraising help for PTA groups, presentation of Travel Marks and the launch of the Green Travel Roadshow.

Bigger and better
This is our third year of our KM Charity Team Forum. We are focusing on support, ideas and inspiration as well as an opportunity to share good practice for all of our walk to school schemes. In addition school PTAs, charities and good causes and learn how the charity fundraising events, publicity and support for you.
There’s something for everyone whatever walk to school scheme you are doing; whether you have a walking bus in its infancy and need some practical support to get started, or you’re been doing WOW for years and need some extra motivation, we’ve got the session for you!
If you are a charity, good cause or PTA we have a packed information session detailing how we can support you through brain and brawn events, publicity and lots more.’
How to book
- Select an item from each section of the forum. There are two different sessions with workshops - ensure you don't double book yourself!
- Make sure you are logged in to this website so you can access the eshop to book. If you have not registered yet please do so now.
- Return to this page on the kmwalktoschool.co.uk website.
- In the e-shop click on the different elements of the day you wish to attend. Add them to your cart. When you are finished remember to pay (if required) or your places will not be booked.
- Within 24 hours an automatic email will be sent to you to thank you for your booking.
- A week before the forum you will receive an email confirming final details.

Session 1. Green Footsteps information session 9-10am
Come and find out all about our brand new, entry level walk to school scheme. This is a cheaper, simple way to get your children to walk to school. it does not have all the resources that you get with WOW and Walking Bug but is a great way to dip your toe in the water.
Session 2. walk to School clinic. 10-11.45am
Choose one of the following:
Walking Bus Clinic
A chance to look at the details of your walking bus with Birgitt James of KCC and KM Walk to School Project Officers
Cost: £1 per person
Places available: 30
Wow and walking Bug Support
A chance to discuss how your first week is going, share top tips, success stories and ask about using the scheme. This is ideal for new and existing scheme users.
Cost: Free (including teas, coffees and pastries)

PTA and charity fundraising
Find out how the KM Charity Team can help you raise money for your good cause, PTA group charity. Session to include, applying for free Treasure Chest raffle prizes, booking a block of places at a KM abseil, KM Dragon Boat Race, applying to become Charity of the Year.
Cost: £2 (including teas, coffees and pastries)

Following refreshments we invite you to join us for our Platinum Travel Mark Presentation launch of our new Green Travel Roadshow. The morning will end at 12.30pm.
