Celebrate Walk to School

Hundreds of children have taken part in attempts to create the county’s biggest walking bus.
The first Big Bus record attempt was staged in 2001 with 56 children and 32 adults.
Most years the numbers have grown and at the attempt in 2010 a total of 247 walking bus children and parents from Kent took part.
The event, which is now called Buster's Big Bash, is staged in Canterbury in May and is a Walk to School Mini Festival.
It is a fun way to celebrate the success of walk to school schemes in Kent and Medway.
A signature element to the event is children (and parents) joining in the Walking Bus song. It works with a caller singing a line and then everyone else repeating it.
This year's event is on Saturday, May 18, to book your place

X-Factor's Ben Mills, from Kent, joined a group of Walking Bus children in the recording studio to perform the track. Have a listen!
