Dragon Boat teams thanked for fundraising

Teams taking part in the KM Dragon Boat Race have been recognised for their fundraising efforts on the water.
Leo Whitlock from the KM Group met up with representatives of some of the organisations who took part and thanked them for supporting the event.
He said: “I am delighted that the dragon boat teams have managed to raise such large amounts for their charities.
“We are really pleased to have given them the chance to raise important funds in such a novel and fun way. Everyone had a great time."
The race, which was organised by the KM Charity Team, was held at Arethusa Water Sport Centre at Chatham Maritime and raised more than £14,000 for charities and good causes.
Next year’s KM Dragon Boat Race will be on Sunday, July 3.
