IT Co-OrdinatorTogether we make a difference
The KM Charity Team is searching for an IT professional to take charge of the charity's website and CRM database, as well as support the team with graphics production.
The charity has invested heavily in its web assets and CRM database so little development work is required currently. The postholder will manage configuration of our systems as well as provide general IT support to the rest of the team.
The post will suit an IT professional with intermediate skills and experience who is looking to develop his or her career.
- Based at the charity's offices in Whitstable.
- £10.35 per hour. 30 hours per week.
- £16,150 salary (full time equivalent £20,182)
- Banking of hours allowing postholder to only work during school term time.
Event and Fundraising OfficerCould you be our community champion?
18 hours per week (flexible). £11.83 per hour. Annual salary £11,074 (Equivalent full time salary £22,145). Bonuses available dependent on performance.
Do you have the enthusiasm and motivation to champion a high-profile and well respected charitable initiative?
Do you have at least three years experience in either marketing, running a community cause or charitable fund-raising? Are you self reliant with excellent presentation and communication skills?
The KM Charity Team is searching for a part-time Event and Fundraising Officer to develop our school based and community fundraising events.
The job will be varied with the post holder taking on a variety of event management and fundraising tasks, as well as liaising with partners to stage our high profile events. You will take direct responsibility for staging the KM Big Bike Ride, KM Bright Spark Awards and Kent Cooks / Kent Cooks Professionals.
Presentations form a key part of the role both to potential sponsors and to stakeholders.
It is essential that you have a good understanding of people and the ability to generate ideas and convince others to gain a positive outcome.
The successful applicant must have a Criminal Records Bureau check, which the project will organise.

Senior Event StewardsThe KM Charity Team needs additional Senior Event Stewards to support its high profile events including the KM Big Bike Ride (April), KM Colour Run (June), KM Charity Walk (June). Senior Event Stewards spend the day supporting and directing participants taking part in our charity challenges.This is not a paid position, but KM Charity Team do pay an honorarium of £20 per day to help cover mileage and other expenses a volunteer might have. Supporting our events are both exhausting and thoroughly rewarding. Office Volunteer - administratorIf you have a few hours to spare each week and want to make a real difference to the lives of the people of Kent, please volunteer some time to support the KM Charity Team. The charity department at the KM Group is a registered charity delivering a range of services to improve the health and wellbeing of children in our county, as well as supporting hundreds of charities with their fundraising. We now have an opening for four volunteer administrators to support our work.Volunteer administrators will be based at our office at: KM Charity Team, Gazette House, 5-8 Estuary View business Park, Boorman Way, Whitstable, Kent CT5 3SE - so we would prefer volunteers who live locally.
Charity TrusteeThe KM Charity Team is seeking additional volunteer Trustees to join its Main Board following a review of its governance.Individuals are required to take on one of the following responsibilities:
- Finance Trustee – to serve on the HR and Finance Committee
- HR Trustee – to serve on the HR and Finance Committee
- General Trustee – to serve on the Service Delivery Committee
