Ride for charity or ride for fun
The KM Charity Team will host its annual KM Big Bike Ride on Sunday 29th April 2018, sponsored by Vattenfall.
Riders have the choice of taking part in the popular physical cycling challenge just for fun, or to raise money for their favourite good cause through sponsorship. Any individual raising £200 or more for charity will go into a draw to win a pair of EUROSTAR tickets.
There will be mid-ride refreshments for all riders plus hot and cold food and drink will be available for purchase at the venue. There will be electronic chip timing and each participant will have a sportive photograph taken during the event.
The KM Charity Team will retain 30 per cent of sponsorship to cover costs for the event. Any profits the KM Charity Team make from its share will be used on its children’s road safety work in Kent.
Please note due to insurance purposes this ride is not open to anyone under the age of 12. Riders aged 12-17 must have a parental consent form signed by a parent or legal guardian and must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Check in time is 8am-10am (for both routes) with the majority of our riders traditionally leaving around 9am.

KM Big Bike Ride is staged as a fundraising event to support the educational services delivered by the KM Charity Team. Booking charges and corporate sponsorship, together with our share of sponsorship raised by participants, are put towards the educational work of the KM Charity Team in the county’s schools.
