What information do we collect about you?
We collect information about you when you register with us or place an order for events, products or services. We also collect information when you voluntarily complete customer surveys, provide feedback and participate in competitions. Website usage information is collected using cookies.
How will we use the information about you?
We collect information about you to process your order, manage your account and, if you agree, to email you about other products and services we think may be of interest to you. We use your information collected from the website to personalise your repeat visits to our website. KM Charity Team will not share your information for marketing purposes with companies outside the company. In processing your order, we may send your details to charities you are raising money for in order for them to process your donation. We use third party software companies such as Xero, Salesforce, Cirrus, Asperato, Gmail, and Mailchimp when processing your data. We have reviewed their processing of data policies in order to ensure compliance, however you may wish to review their privacy notices found on their websites.
Visitors to our websites
When someone visits our website we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it.
We use a third party service, Heart Internet, to host our website. We use a standard WordPress service to collect anonymous information about users’ activity on the site, for example the number of users viewing pages on the site, to monitor and report on the effectiveness of the site and help us improve it. We use a third party provider, Mailchimp, to deliver our monthly e-newsletters. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies including clear gifs to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
We use the CRM, Salesforce, to manage our events and education programmes. We hold addresses and email addresses and manage our communications through this system. We use Cirrus to link our emails to Salesforce. We use Timba Surveys when conducting surveys and this also links into Salesforce. We use DocuSign as our contract management system, which links to Salesforce. We use Xero as our accounting system and hold information about financial transactions of individuals. We use Asperato to manage our online payments. Please see the Xero and Asperato privacy notices for more information.
We would like to send you information about products and services of ours which may be of interest to you. If you have consented to receive marketing, you may opt out at a later date. You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please contact us.
