Charity supporters will make great strides for good causes at the KM Charity Walk in June.
So far more than 40 charities are set to benefit from the event, which is organised by the KM Group’s charity department.
Walkers can raise funds for any worthy cause of their choice when they step out on Sunday, June 29. Participants will each receive a certificate and goody bag at the finish line.
Organiser Nancy Clark, of the KM Charity Team, said: “Enjoy a lovely walk and support your favourite charity at the same time. Sign up with friends or family and don’t forget that children can come along for free.”
Walkers can take on a 10-mile or a 5-mile route. The longer walk has two stamping stations and goes through historic Faversham, along the creek and out into the East Kent countryside.
The walk is sponsored by Britain’s oldest brewer Shepherd Neame. Proceeds will be split between participants’ named charities and the children’s road safety work of the KM Charity Team.
