Guests and hosts are guaranteed a fantastic, fun-filled night at the ceremony for this year’s Sussex Teacher of the Year Awards.
That’s the message of the venue where the ceremony is taking place.
And with less than two weeks left until the March 1 nominations deadline, there is still time left to submit details of outstanding Sussex educators.
In the meantime, Jurys Inn staff are pulling out all the stops to ensure a great night for the winners.
Brighton Waterfront sales manager Maisie Phillips said: “This is the second year running that we have been asked to host the awards, and we are very proud.
“On the night it’s a great feeling within the team: it’s such a fun event to be involved in because everyone’s in such high spirits and knows that there’s lots of celebrating to do.
“And we know how important it is to celebrate the teachers and support staff who go above and beyond.”
Organised by educational charity Inspire Schools, the awards aim to celebrate the work of educators across Sussex.
Winners will be announced for the county as a whole and for its individual districts.
Ms Phillips promised a warm welcome and lavish hospitality for everyone attending the ceremony, adding: “The awards are going to be held in our beautiful Renaissance Room, which is our largest events space and will be ready to hold up to 150 guests on the night.
“Our guests can look forward to a delicious menu created by our head chef.
“Our team are going to be ready to provide some excellent service.
“And we are committed to ensuring the awards are a memorable and special night for everyone.”
