Abseiling

Take part in an abseil challenge and raise money for the good cause of your choice.

Participants must be aged 10+ and can support any charity – simply select the good cause from the drop-down list when making your booking. If the charity is not on the list, email hhawksworth@thekmgroup.co.uk who will add it on for you.

Those aged 10 to 17 years must have a legal guardian present (the guardian does not have to do the abseil).

Participants should aim to raise at least £75 in sponsorship, with 70 per cent of the money raised going to their chosen cause and 30 per cent received by the KM Charity Team’s children’s literacy and road safety schemes. The KM Charity Team pays for the event costs out of its share of the pot.

Keep an eye out on the Event Booking page to take part in upcoming abseil events.

I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone in your team who assisted me at the Maidstone abseil.I am totally blind. I found the instructions were excellent and the whole event very well organised. Although it was pretty hair raising and scary I found the whole experience very exhilarating and a huge challenge. Thanks again for an exciting and challenging day.

KM Abseil Challenges are staged as fundraising events to support the educational services delivered by the KM Charity Team. Booking charges and corporate sponsorship, together with our share of sponsorship raised by participants, are put towards the educational work of the KM Charity Team in the county’s schools.
